| THE 2010 DENTON SUMMER SHOOTOUT |
| THE 2010 DENTON SUMMER SHOOTOUT is a MAYB (Mid America Youth Basketball) regional championship tournament to be held in Denton, Texas area air-conditioned gyms on July 16-18, 2010. Our tournament is proud to be an "EVENT OF EXCELLENCE AWARD WINNER" from MAYB. |

| The tournament is open to both boys and girls teams, grades 3-12, with a 5 game minimum. The deadline for entry is June 25, 2010. Entry fee is $295 and the tournament is open to all teams. (You do not have to be a member of MAYB). All games are played in state of the art, air-conditioned gyms. |

| 1999 was the first year for our event, and it was a total success, "I've enjoyed it. It's been good competition and we've had very good games. The competition here is right up there." 2000 was our second year and the tournament exploded to 143 teams participating. For 2001 we once again experienced rapid growth with 171 teams in the tournament. "This was the best tournament we have been to." "Schedule was very well done." "Thanks, it was a great experience." |

| The next year's event (2002), once again, grew in size with over 200 teams participating. "My team had an outstanding time and we will certainly return next year. "A top-rate experience." "Great gyms and outstanding games." |

| The 2003 event also grew with close to 250 teams playing and was an outstanding success. "People were friendly and helpful.", "Everything was great!", "Great job!. You have a well run, well planned tournament." "No changes needed as far as our team is concerned." "Our players, parents, and I enjoyed the experience." |

| The 2004 event went extremely well and the number of teams came close to 300. "I think you have a well run, well planned tournament. No changes need as far as out team is concerned. We enjoyed ourselves." "People were friendly and helpful." |

| The 2005 event went very smooth and once again nearly 300 teams competed in what was perhaps our most competitive tournament to date. ìI was very happy the professional way the tournament was run, Overall, a very enjoyable experience, Great tournament! are just some of the responses we received from last year's event. In 2006 - 2008 we expanded even more, adding more gyms and over 300 teams participated. |

| The 2009 event was another great event. "We have attended many summer tournaments and were amazed that your tournament used 3 man referee crews in full dress for every high school aged game. Your referee crews were outstanding." "The facilities are flawless and the staff at the sites were very informed and friendly". |

| The DENTON SUMMER SHOOTOUT has become "the tournament to attend". Give us a call and we'll mail you a registration packet or you can register online. Be sure and register your team as soon as possible, last year many were not able to play because the tournament was full and we expect this years event to fill up as well, perhaps before the deadline! |
